Perfumes Club UK review

Finding a good bargain website can sometimes be difficult or not stocking what you want. (For example, to right foundation shade.) So when I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Perfumes Club UK and was asked if I would like to choose some products from their site and review my experience shopping with them on my blog, I knew their website was a little gem. They are a perfume and cosmetic website based in Majorca and have over 4000 products from Chanel to Dior with huge discounts, up to 75% off RRP: beauty junkies such as myself are spoilt for choice! It's great that all their products have huge discounts so not only do you save some pennies but can also afford to purchase more! They have all the classics to the recent releases.
I placed an order like any other costumer would do so I got a feel for the shopping experience: searching for products, browsing their offers and purchasing. The website is really easy to use in terms of finding products. You can search by brand name, name of the product or by category, for example: fragrance, women's cosmetics, male grooming ect. With a variety of options for payment, it makes it easy and assessable to most people. They accept credit card, bank transfer and PayPal.
I chose Prada - Candy and Armani - Aqua De Gioia. Both the products came well packaged - in a large cardboard box with air bags to prevent damage. I was also provided with a tracking service so I could track my parcel online which I find really useful. It arrived from Spain within 5 working days. They stock from the smaller size (30ml) to the larger bottles (100ml.) So there is plenty of choice and variety. If it's a perfume you really love, you could buy the larger size so it will last you longer.
I adore these perfumes and had been lusting after them for a while so I couldn't resit when I saw them! They both come in stylish packages, whilse Prada is bold and bright, Armani is a more sleek and understated look but then scents totally different. I went for the 30ml bottle as I use perfume a lot: it would take me forever to use a large bottle! Plus, you can try more scents that way.
My experience on the website was brilliant. Easy to navigate, perfect prices and a simple easy-to-use checkout. The P&P is a little over £6 which I think is fair as it is being shipped overseas. Plus, the huge discount you have already saved with them instead of purchasing in store. I'll defiantly be using these again for a little cheeky purchase. Well worth a browse if you're a beauty junkie and looking for a bargain and save a few pennies.

Will you be bargain browsing? What are your thoughts?

Diamond Jubilee Inspiration

With the Diamond Jubilee coming closer and closer, I thought I'd write this post on some ideas of what you can do and hopefully will give you some inspiration. Many streets will be adorning the traditional red, white and blue theme. Most pubs and restaurants will be hosting a gorgeous meal or the traditional afternoon tea. Local town halls will be hosting a party too. This post is just a few ideas to get you into the mood. You may be hosting your own party or attending one somewhere else. So here are some of my ideas to get into the spirit of the Diamond Jubilee...
❤11 Ideas❤
How about a traditional Victoria sponge cake with fresh strawberries?
Pick flowers from your garden and pop into a vase with fresh water - this would look lovely if you are hosting your own afternoon tea.
Make your own bunting - use fabric, coloured card or colour your own then attach to some string.
A fruit trifle is always a bit hit with people - fresh fruit, sponge and custard. You could decorate the top in the style of the Union Jack using strawberries and blueberries!
Cook your own biscuits in the shape of a crown and decorate them - maybe add sprinkles or use red and gold icing?
Print out large photos of the Royal Family and cut holes out of the eyes and attach to some string - volia! Your own face masks!
Bake cupcakes and experiment with red and blue colouring and sprinkles - you could make little flags to stick in the top.
Make your own Union Jack poster - use an A3 piece of paper and pencils - experiment with glitter or fabric for a crafty look.
How about a picnic? Make princess sandwiches, fresh lemonade and some cake!
Little children around? Make sure you have plenty of games - face paints are always a good idea.
Get children in the craft mood - cut crown shapes out of card to let them decorate then attach with celotape.

Enjoy!

Whip It

Dress: Primark
Ring: Primark

I decided to go for a dressed down and sophisticated look for Sunday lunch with the family. Plain, simple but understated and looks more expensive than it really is. It's a beautiful light pink with a cream lace Peter-Pan collar. This A-line dress comes in pink (above) and a mint version. I kept the jewellery simple with just a daisy cocktail ring. I teamed it with my nude court shoes and nude clutch. Just look at this beautiful collar...

Neon Brights

Nails Inc's new Neon and Nude polishes have arrived! I love neons in the summer time; so bright and bold and add instant wow factor. The nudes give an understated, classy and sophisticated look. You can view the collection here. You can watch my video for a full review and swatches:

You & I

Say a big "Hello!" to Ben... the new love of my life! He is an English Springer Spaniel who I bought this weekend. After saving for such a long time, I was able to purchase my little pupster. He is 9 weeks old today (Monday.) I thought you might like to see some super-cute photos of my little cheeky boy...

John Frieda - Luxurious Volume

John Frieda - Luxurious Volume Shampoo & Conditioner
£5.79 each
For me, I adore long, luscious bouncy curls. The more volume and bigger the curls; the better. With a slight backcomb at the roots, quick spritz of hairspray and rollers in the ends of my hair normally does the trick. However, I have discovered a new love with John Frieda's Luxourious Volume shampoo and conditioner combo.

The beautifully scented combo begins the volumizing process in the bath/shower. It foams up wonderfully and I find I only need a small amount even though I have long hair. Over the last few weeks of using this, I have seen a difference in my hair: it has more body and bounce and seems to have given my hair a new lease of life. It wasn't a straght-away noticable difference, but over the weeks, it has gradually. So do not expect results after one use. I'd recommend using continually for each wash. Best of all, it works well blow-drying hair upside down!

I'll be stocking more of this as it does exactly what it says and is a reasonable price.
