Seascape Island Apothecary Review

Seascape | Refresh Hand Wash, Unwind Bath Foam & Uplift Body Wash*
£16.00 each
Bath times are a way to escape the stresses of the day, relax and unwind and slip softly into wonderful dreams while the bubbles gently caress your skin. So its only natural to find bath products that work wonders on the skin in conjunction with making you feel happy and relaxed. Let me introduce you to Seascape Island Apothecary. I'd never heard of them until I was approached to write a review. What caught my eye was the clean, fresh appearance of the products and their pledge to only use ingredients that are sourced from ethical suppliers. You can read more about the brand here. Their range includes hands, bath and shower, skin care, maternity, men, les petits and gift sets.

Their promise....
"Our products are paraben, silicone, petroleum and SLS free and are suitable for vegetarians. We do not use artificial colours or synthetic fragrances. We are against animal testing. All of our ingredients are sourced from ethical suppliers and our bottles and packaging are recyclable."

Refresh Hand Wash - Contains 100% natural essential oils of Jersey lavender which soothe and calm; Lemongrass to tone and refresh; and Geranium to balance and cleanse the hands. I've really enjoyed using this hand wash and my hands felt soothed.

Unwind Bath Foam - Contains 100% natural essential oils of Jersey lavender and exotic ylang ylang to balance the mind and ease tension. This has to be my favourite that I have tried from Seascape. The glorious lavender is perfect for encouraging a dreamy nights' sleep, helping you feel settled and at ease. This is the perfect product to slip into a sweet slumber.

Uplift body wash - If you prefer a shower in the morning and like your products to help you wake up and feel ready for the day then this might be the perfect body wash for you. Containing 100% natural essential oils of Jersey eucalyptus to stimulate circulation, lime to energize and lavender to refresh the senses.

I'm really loving this brand right now and I defiantly want to try more of their products!

I'd love to know your thoughts!

Cath Kidston | Stationary haul

Cath Kidston | Kempton Rose Ring Binders, Bus Rubber, Linen Sprig Zip Purse, Kempton Rose A4 Document wallets & Royal Rose Hardback Notebook
£8.00, £1.00, £6.00, £7.00 & £8.00
I simply adore Cath Kidston. The vintage floral prints, the classic, retro-twist and the adorable pastel shades. I popped in to pick up some stationary essentials for university. I still have my eye on a few other things I'd like to get. I was like a Magpie drawn in and could have bought everything! The baking section is my favourite with cupcakes stands, cute cupcakes cases and pretty teapots. Check out the whole range here.
I bought 2 ring binders, a large rubber, a zip purse but I am going to use this as a pencil case, 4 document wallets and a notebook.
These 2 ring binders come in a pink and blue shade with a pretty floral pattern.
4 document wallets (2 pink and 2 blue) with the same floral pattern as the ring binders.
This A5 size royal flower notebook is simply beautiful. Each page has a different coloured boarder and flower. There are other designs on the front covers to choose from.
A handy rubber with a cute London bus on the front. There are 4 designs in total including: football, flower and a cowboy.
This linen sprig zip purse is perfect for storing any of your little treasures, makeup essentials but I'll be using mine as a pencil case. It has a silicon zip with the Cath Kidston logo engraved and the purse itself is oil cloth material making it handy if you spill anything; can be wiped clean. There are lots of other patterns to choose from.

Do you like pretty stationary?

Candy stripes nail art!

A cute, candy and pastel nail art perfect for Easter! I used a mixture of lemon, mint, lilac and baby pink shades to create this nail art. So gather your pretty pastel polishes and follow my step-by-step tutorial:

How to
1. Start off by painting all the nails in lemon and leave to dry. Using tape, tape off sections of your nails.
2. Using your different polishes, paint over the sections and leave to dry. It doesn't matter if you go over the tape as this will be removed later.
3. Keep repeating and alternating the colours. Once completely dry, remove the tape and apply a top coat.
4. On your ring finger, paint a small heart and seal with a top coat.

That's it...your own candy stripe nail art!
Happy Easter!

Aussie | Miracle Shine Range

Aussie Miracle Shine Range
£3.99, £3.99 and £4.99
The newest hair care collection from Aussie - Miracle Shine which is consumed with Australian Ginseng extract and pearl powder to ignite your hair's shine and vibrancy. The collection consists of shampoo, conditioner and a 3 minute miracle shine deep treatment. This range promises to give your hair a good dose of sunshine leaving your hair gleaming and glistening. When these arrived on my doorstep, I was really excited to try them as I feel my hair is prone to looking dull so I wanted to see if these will boost the shine and glow of my hair. I think brunette hair is harder to maintain and release its inner shine as there are more darker tones and can sometimes lack the luster we need.

Upon opening the bottles, the scent is very sweet and fruity. Some may find it too sweet and a little sickly but I quite enjoyed using them. My bathroom smelt like a fruit salad afterwards. I've been using these for a few weeks now and the deep treatment once a week. My hair feels gorgeously soft, smooth and silky. It's probably the best its felt in such a long time. I've really enjoyed the 3 Minute Miracle shine deep treatment and noticed a huge improvement in my hair's body, condition and luster and I'm sure continuing to use this treatment will do my locks a world of good. It's defiantly given it a boost of nourishment and care.

The shampoo and conditioner is rich and creamy and works well on my hair leaving it oh-so soft and tangle-free. I've notice my hair looks less ragged on the ends and seems more manageable to work with. I wouldn't say I've noticed a massive improved in my hair's shine, however, it's defiantly boost its condition and body. I think it might of improved a little but its the less obviously qualities that have improved.

The trio are available from most supermarkets and chemists. 500ml are available at £5.99 each.

Have you used this range? Was your locks left glistening, gleaming and glinting?

Urban Decay | Vice palette & swatches!

Urban Decay | Vice palette
£42.00*
Within the Urban Decay Vice palette is 20 wonderful and mesmerizing eye shadow shades held in a beautiful matte black case with a mirror in the lid and the 'UD' logo embossed on the lid. A feast for the eyes. The palette is consumed with matte, satins, shimmers, neutrals and brights and are all breathtakingly beautiful. If you're a lover of eye shadows, then this is the palette for you!
The perfect palette to transport and with an array of beautiful shades to choose from. Slip into your weekender bag and your ready for any occasional. Bright shades for a big and bold impact, attention-grabbing, look-at-my-eyes or choose the softer shades for a warm, twinkle in the eye look.
The palette comes with a double ended brush. One end is a eye shadow brush for applying the colour and the other is a blending brush to blend out any harsh lines. The brush feels super soft and a great tool as it allows you to apply and blend without taking lots of brushes with you.
Desperation - a light brown mixed with a medium grey with a frosted, satin finish. The payoff is excellent which means you can use a little swept over the lids or built up for a stronger, defined look.
Muse - is a dark brown with a golden glitter sparkle. The sparkles are noticeable but have a tendency to fall out so I always use a good primer to help the staying-power.
Jagged - a sheer, olive-toned, medium brown with chunky bronze/golden sparkles. This is very sheer and can be a little tricky to apply.
Blitz - is a yellow/gold and is a bright metallic finish. It applies really smoothly and looks amazing in the inner corner on the eyes.
Penny Lane - Such a cute name! It's a warm medium orange with a peachy, golden metallic finish. It's mostly opaque so you only need a little and blends really well.
Junkie - a blue/teal with a frosted finish.
Chaos - rich, royal blue with hints of violet. It's bold and striking with a matte base.
Occupy - A metal grey with a hint of bluish and silver undertone. A slight shimmer and has a good colour payoff.
Unhinged - a dark teal with a soft, metallic finish. Applied smoothly and had a good staying-power.
Black Market - a brownish black and looks amazing blended into the crease of the eye.
Provocateur - is a pale pink with a soft mauve, pink and silver sparkle. It is a very beautiful shade and looks amazing smoked out with soft browns.
Rapture - a medium purple/brownish shade with subtle burgundy undertones. The payoff is decent but wore off a little.
Vice - a brilliant violet purple with a soft, frosted finish.
Noise - a popping pink with violet undertones and a satin finish. There is a faint sparkle but I didn't seem to see it much once applied onto my lid. It looked slightly brighter in the pan than on my lid.
Armour - a grayish, brown with a delicate satin finish. Applies smoothly and evenly.
Nevermind - light medium bronze/brown with a frosted metallic finish. A very soft and smooth texture and looks beautiful for a day time look.
Echo Beach - a pale gold with a subtle warm undertone and applied evenly. Another fabulous shade for a day time look.
Anonymous - a pale ivory with a matte finish. I prefer using this as a highlighter on my brow bone. It has a good pigmentation.
Free Bird - a soft dusty pink with a yellow shimmer and has a metallic finish. This shade is quite sheer when applied.
Laced - a pink-tinged beige with a matte finish. It has a wonderful payoff without being too powdery.

Overall, this is my favourite palette with a great mixture of wonderful shades, easy to transport and defiantly releases your experimental side; trying out shades which you'd usually stay away from (or stuck in the same shade rut) which I've really enjoyed doing.

What are your thoughts about this palette?
